Czech Climate Advocates discuss Europe’s role on global climate change and it competitiveness
Tue, 04 November 2008
Two Czech climate advocates attended a seminar on the 29 of October on Europe’s leading role on competitiveness and the transition to a low carbon economy. The day was organised by the British Embassy in Prague in cooperation with Respekt Institute for senior officials, NGO workers and representatives of academia and science. Although the topic was the necessary transition to a low carbon economy, the impacts of the recent financial crises to this process were also widely discussed. The seminar was opened by Caroline Flint, British Minister to Europe, who also met privately with our advocates to discuss Challenge Europe and Czech climate challenges
